A Case of Hereditary hemorrhagic Telangiectasia : Treatment with CO2 Laser

Hereditary hemorrhagic telangiectasia is a familial syndrome manifested by recurrent epistaxis. There has been many therapeutic modalities such as intranasal cautery, septal dermoplasty, arterial embolization to control nasal bleeding. But these
procedures have limited success and considerable morbidity. Recently, laser therapy was introduced to otolaryngologic field.
A 40-yyar-old woman presented with frequent epistaxis over 10 years was found to have hemorrhagic telangiectasia involving anterior septal mucosa. The etiology. Presenting features and treatment of this disease was reviewed.
